Sustainable Collection: Hand-Printed, Recycled Infinity Scarf - Shades of Blue Pattern Scarf
This one-of-a-kind loop scarf is handmade in Maine from reclaimed cotton fabric, silkscreen printed with my original textile patterns. The infinity scarf is the perfect length to wrap twice around your neck, and you don’t have to figure out how to tie it or what to do with the ends! If you're familiar with my bamboo fabric infinity scarves, you will notice that this version is slightly longer, wider, and is a thicker, more structured, substantial fabric, less soft and drapey.
These recycled scarves are part of my sustainable scarf collection, inspired by my interest in the Slow Fashion movement. They are made from upcycled fabric, high-quality t-shirts, and old cotton garments. You can read more about this project here. I have always worked hard to find the most sustainable, organic and non-toxic materials and low-impact processes; this collection takes the idea one step further by creating gorgeous scarves from recycled textiles. This scarf makes a wonderfully eco-conscious gift!
This infinity scarf is made from a gorgeous collection of different patterns in shades of blue and periwinkle. It looks great with blue jeans or any outfit that includes cool colors like greens, blues, purples or greys, and it also looks fabulous against a bright mustard or dusty maroon top.
