Fresh green fern pattern, hand-printed on an oatmeal-colored 100% linen tea towel. I picked most of these ferns by a mountainside waterfall on a summer hike through the White Mountain National Forest. And I found a few of them in the city, sprouting up through a crack in the sidewalk beside the art supply store. I pressed them in books until they were flat and dry, then used them to create a stencil for silkscreen printing on fabric.
This towel is perfect to use as a kitchen towel or hand cloth, and beautifully brightens up your kitchen with a bit of natural beauty. This towel is neatly stitched and hand-silkscreened in Maine. It has a handy twill-tape hanging loop on the back. A hand-printed tea-towel makes a lovely and thoughtful house-warming gift or hostess gift.
